The ClimEmpower project was presented at the 1st International Climate Change Congress, held on October 24th and 25th, 2024, in Jerez, Andalusia. The congress focused on addressing global climate challenges, with an emphasis on developing tailored climate adaptation and mitigation strategies for the Andalusian region. ClimEmpower showcased its work through a roll-up at the Andalusia Government stand and was highlighted in Table 5, which emphasized innovation and research in climate services.
The congress aimed to foster collaboration between public, private, and civil sectors to promote climate action. Key topics included energy transition, adaptation strategies, climate communication, and the role of science and technology in tackling climate issues. The event stressed the urgency of climate change and the need for effective solutions. ClimEmpower’s involvement reinforced its dedication to enhancing regional resilience through sustainable and innovative climate services.
